Culture night

I was at theater yesterday with some of my classmates and it was pretty awesome. I found one trailer about it but it's kinda mild.. I mean on the stage it was mind blowing with all the effects and stuff but this trailer doesn't include anything super cool. Probably because they want you to go see it. And so do I, it-was-amazing.

So this play is called Anna Liisa and it's about child murder (written by Minna Canth (1895)). Yeah. Plot goes like this: Everybody's happy, including Anna Liisa, she's in love with Johannes and they are getting married next weekend. Then Husso ( an old, little mean woman - she was played by a man yesterday) comes and tells that Mikko (his... I mean her son) is back. Anna Liisa gets anxious and her way to madness begins (whooooo). So: Mikko comes back after 4 years absence and wants Anna Liisa back, but she doesn't feel that way about Mikko. That's why Mikko starts extorting AL by saying he'll tell everyone about things that happened years ago. Eventually Anna Liisa confesses that she was in love with Mikko and that they fucked and she got pregnant. Without marriage they had to keep it as a secret. Then Anna Liisa gave birth in woods and then panicked and killed her baby. Husso buried the child and promised to keep it as a secret, and so did Mikko. And well... Anna Liisa goes to prison after telling all that but she's happy, she said she needed that punishment. It's a good play, believe me.
